The dining room is beautifully renovated and designed, which made the poor food and very low service level a real disappointment. I was there for a 5-day ski holiday with my two kids. The room was excellent, but it had no internet, and I don’t understand how a hotel like this doesn’t ensure every room has good access. There was an unwelcoming, unpleasant feeling about the hotel, unfortunately.

The wellness area is extensive, with several saunas, and everything was very clean. The hotel provided robes and slippers, and the staff were super friendly. Breakfast had plenty of options and was good quality. Our stay at hotel Flachauerhof was lovely, the best hotel of our trip through Austria.

The wellness area was great, with several saunas, and I was happy to find hand wash, body lotion, and shower gel from Rituals, as I’m a big fan. Anja was super kind, and the staff’s kindness continued through the stay. They even gave us two bottles of water for the journey. We booked a room for summer and it turned out to be a very good choice. The room, balcony, surroundings, staff, and breakfast were all super, and that breakfast was among the best we’ve had at a hotel. One small thing: the hand and body lotion holder attached to the bathroom wallpaper, maybe with glue, gets heavy when you use it. It seems likely to damage and tear the nice wallpaper, then fall off, so I’d recommend fixing it with a screw. Thanks for your kindness, and congratulations on a well organized hotel.

Ritual's products ✨️ 😍, plus free toiletries, a bathrobe, and slippers. The spa has different kinds of saunas, and the place was cosy, modern, and very clean. A great spot to relax, enjoy the mountain scenery, and breathe the fresh air 😌.

The rooms were nice, and the hotel is dog friendly, but the payment handling was a mess. We booked through Booking and paid in advance, and the hotel sent confirmation. When we arrived, they said they couldn’t see the payment but would look into it. Three days later at checkout, they still said we hadn’t paid, even though they had the confirmation in their Booking conversation and we gave them the payment identification. While we paid for drinks, they copied our credit card details and said they would investigate further and get back to us. We hadn’t agreed to have our card copied and used. After we left, they charged us again for the full stay, which had already been paid, and kept our money blocked for a week. They didn’t call or email. They eventually returned the payment, but 40 EUR was missing, and they said it wasn’t their problem.
