The church bells in town rang at 7 every morning and woke us, though that’s hardly something the Traningers can control. We still had a great 10-day stay at Haus Traninger in August 2016. Our room was beautifully renovated, spacious, well equipped, and looked out over little Flachau. The beds were comfortable, the showers modern, and even the dishwasher was brand new. We could dry laundry on the shared porch, and the boys loved the courtyard trampoline. There was plenty of parking for our station wagon. Christine and Herbert were especially helpful, kept everything spotless, and even gave us a hand with the car since they have a professional garage.

There’s a slight uphill walk, but it was a lovely place to spend our holiday. The accommodation was clean and cosy, and close to both the slopes and après-ski.

The bread delivery was a real highlight, and from the apartment we had a fantastic view of the World Cup slope and the church. It’s in a quiet spot, though getting to the village and ski bus takes about a five-minute walk. The large ski room has its own outside entrance. Inside, everything was spotless, with a big balcony and a TV in every room. The apartment was very well furnished, with all the equipment we needed, including a microwave and dishwasher. The friendly hostess showed us around, explained how things worked, and showed us the ski storage room.

The owners were very accommodating and took the time to answer all our questions. The view over the ski slope was incredible, and the apartment was quiet and clean. It worked perfectly for four of us, with two separate bedrooms, an en-suite bathroom, and a kitchen stocked with everything we needed. I’d definitely come back.

We stayed in Apartment A, which suited the two of us perfectly and had a lovely view of the World Cup ski slope. The apartment is beautiful and tucked away quietly at the edge of town, with the center about a 10-minute walk away. The owners were a very nice couple. We’d gladly stay again.
