I still have questions about the security here. While we were barbecuing in the designated area, a hotel worker silently walked around watching us, and I couldn’t tell why. Later, I was undressed and about to shower in my room when I thought someone was opening the door. There’d been no knock. I grabbed a towel and looked out, frightened. She saw something inside and ran off without a word or apology, or any explanation for coming in. I asked the owner what had happened; she sent an emoticon and said the worker had the wrong door. The hotel was empty, with only a few rooms, and half an hour earlier they both knew we were in that particular room. I still don’t understand what she wanted to do or take in our room while we were away. She wasn’t carrying glasses, and the security question is still unresolved. Please teach the caretaker to knock on a closed door. The room itself wasn’t comfortable either. The mattresses were old and soft, there were no slippers for stepping onto the balcony and no bathroom amenities, and breakfast wasn’t included. The coffee machine was full of disgusting coffee that still makes me feel sick. For €150, with no discount, this was a bad experience. I hope you can leave early. From 6 in the morning, slamming doors will wake you, and there’s no personal space or chance to rest. Perhaps the lack of wear at the hotel means other guests had a much better time and preferred it.

The hotel was quiet and very comfortable, and the owner was friendly and helpful. I’d recommend staying here.

The owners, Daniel and Gerda, were wonderful, always friendly and ready to help. We had a great stay in very comfortable accommodation in a good location. Breakfast was delicious, especially the scrambled eggs and tomato confiture. It’s also a great choice if you need a dog-friendly place. Highly recommended!

We were made to feel so welcome by the owners, who helped us every day with trip ideas and information. Villa 7 was lovely, with beautiful views and large, quiet, very clean rooms. Breakfast each morning was amazing, made with the best products. We’ll be back!
