The view is STUNNING, even if getting there means taking a long, torturous road. We ate with a big family and everyone got hearty, tasty Austrian food that was nicely prepared. The place has a tasteful, traditional Austrian grotto feel, and I especially recommend the garlic soup served in a bread cup. Our waitress was great too. She painlessly removed a splinter from under my fingernail with tweezers, which makes sense since she also works in healthcare.
That view made the meal even better. The servers were friendly and charming, with lovely big smiles. The roast pork was fantastic, and the Cordon Bleu was the best!
There are some good hikes nearby, and the place itself is in an amazing spot with a spectacular view. The traditional dishes were well cooked, nicely presented, and came in good portions. Service was friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.
We had the goulash, and it was delicious. The food was fresh, local, and the view was breathtaking. Sitting inside by the fireplace made it feel really cozy.
