Landhaus Klambauer

The breakfast buffet had something for everyone, and the waitress was quick to notice when drinks needed topping up. You can also finish the evening with a nice glass of wine. The room was clean and comfortable, with a lovely, welcoming feel throughout. Mrs. Klammbauer really makes an effort to look after her guests, and I was very happy with my stay at the guesthouse.

My in-laws had stayed here before, perhaps more than once, and wanted to return to this lovely accommodation on their next visit to the Seewinkel region. They invited us for the weekend, and Mrs. Klambauer welcomed us so warmly. The conversation was a pleasure, and our room was lovely. The whole eight-room house has a charming decor. Breakfast by the crackling stove was especially cozy, and the wine cellar must have brought plenty of pleasure to guests over the years. Mrs. Klambauer’s passion for wine comes through when she talks about the winemakers. She also gave me great advice on a small gift for my parents, who were looking after our dog. I’d happily come back and highly recommend a holiday here.

The wine cellar has excellent bottles, just right for a glass at the end of the day. We spent five wonderful days here. Our room was spotless, and both the hostess and staff were friendly and attentive. We’d love to return.

We felt very comfortable here. The people were warm, open-minded, and helpful, and the hotel has a lovely, family-friendly feel. Burgenland is definitely worth visiting.
