The staff were so kind, and we had a lovely time even with rain all day. We were there for work rather than a holiday, unfortunately, but the rooms were nice and the food was great. I’d recommend it. It must be lovely on a sunny day, whether you’re playing golf, enjoying the scenery, or both.

We chose this as a base for four nights of F1 at the Red Bull Ring. The drive took about an hour and was very convenient. The surroundings were pleasant, the rooms were really nice, and breakfast was plentiful and very good. There were lots of dinner choices at the restaurant too. A fan was provided, though there was no air conditioning. The room also had tea and coffee facilities and a TV with BBC News 24 as its only English channel, plus a surround sound system. Sitting outside was difficult when cigarette smoke drifted over, though that seems common everywhere in Austria. The staff were really helpful and accommodating.

The new chef at the restaurant is a perfect host and clearly knows his craft. We had a wonderful time here, and the food was awesome, especially the excellent wine list.
