Chalet Fügen

The place itself is lovely and wonderfully quiet. But we found silverfish and spiders all over the bedroom, including on the bed, walls, and curtains, as well as in the bathroom and hallway. Only half the bedside lamps worked.

This was a surprisingly good, roomy chalet: three bedrooms with cots, two spacious bathrooms, a separate toilet, and a comfortable living and dining room with a kitchen. The sauna was fantastic too. Just remember to switch it on early, because it takes a long time to reach the temperature you want. The kitchen only had one frying pan, and there was no microwave, but the oven was good and made up for it. I highly recommend the apartment, especially for a family with two little ones under three.

We were two couples and one single person, all around 30, and had a fantastic week. We felt very comfortable in this chalet. The view of the mountains is especially beautiful without anything blocking it. Everything was very clean, and the elegant, rustic interior suited the Zillertal style. The owners were very friendly to deal with. The sauna is lovely, fits about four people, stays at 90°C, allows sauna infusions, and has dimmable lights. The living and dining area is spacious, and the terrace has a table and six chairs. There are two bathrooms with showers and a separate WC, plus three bedrooms with solid wood double beds, wardrobes, chests of drawers, and TVs. Each person gets a bathrobe. There's also a big fridge with a freezer, oven, stove, coffee maker, kettle, Weber grill, and two sun loungers. M-Preis is a five-minute walk away, and there's a room for drying skis and boots. Some things could be better equipped. At first there was no frying pan, but the owner readily provided one after I bought it. The safe is currently missing due to a furniture change. I'd also suggest providing two bath, hand, and sauna towels per person, another shower mat, more tea towels, cleaning supplies and a mop, a shower splash guard, casserole dish, microwave, toaster, outdoor shower, bedspread, laundry recommendation, and a better router. I'd call it 4.5 stars. Thanks for a lovely stay!

The hostess was incredibly helpful and friendly, and the shops were less than a five-minute walk away. The chalet was beautiful and very clean, with a breathtaking view. We'd love to come back! 👍🏻
