The house and its surroundings are beautiful, and there’s a bar nearby that stays open late, which is rare in this region. The pizza is delicious and the staff are friendly. The kitchen lighting is poor, making it hard to cook at night, and it was cold enough that showering and staying in the bedroom were difficult. Check-in was managed by a Swiss company. We had to call back and forth between roaming countries to sort out the details because the owner’s number was disconnected. Checkout was supposed to be at 10:00 AM, but the landlady arrived at 9:00 and started pushing us to leave, saying in German that checkout was by 9:00. She ignored that we didn’t understand and kept yelling. We showed her the document that said 10:00, but she continued yelling. It really spoiled our impression.
