The breakfast spread was very large, and the restaurant served very good food. I also liked the sauna area. My room came with a safe and bathrobes, though there weren’t many power sockets. It’s a lovely, well-equipped hotel right in the heart of Fügen. The staff were kind and friendly, and I had a great stay. I highly recommend it.

We’ve just been back to this lovely hotel and place. Friday afternoon had beautiful sunshine. I really like the rooms with balconies facing the back garden, and it’s a nice spot for kids too. The pool and Therme are nearby, as is Bowling, so there’s something to do even if the weather isn’t great.

Three days into our stay, we’re disappointed. The room is nice and the bed is good, but there are three major problems. Our room has been 24 degrees every night, and neither our baby nor we can sleep. We’ve brought it up several times and were told it would be changed, but nothing has happened. Guests here are Dutch, German, and British, where nighttime temperatures are usually 18-19 degrees. The service feels focused on keeping to their schedule rather than on guests. No one asks if we like the food, want another drink, or are enjoying our stay. It doesn’t feel like they care that we’re here. The food is awful: pasta, fish, and vegetables are overcooked, and the children get junk food without even any vegetables. We’re nearly halfway through our stay in room 120. We’ll see if they listen and improve, but so far I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

The restaurant food is superb, and the staff are charming and attentive. The hotel is clean, modern, and well furnished. They don’t get many English guests, but all the staff spoke English. I’d definitely stay again.
