The Zillerlodge was our choice for a weekend this year, after staying at the Hochleger last year and giving it five stars. Both places have lovely wood furnishings, natural materials, and great amenities. The kitchen has everything you need, and the fireplace looks beautiful. It's so quiet there. The natural swimming pond is cold, as you'd expect, but there's a whirlpool and sauna too. We'd happily return.

We had loads of room in the East Lake Suite, around 100 square meters, and the kitchen has all the gear an aspiring cook could want. The ZillerLodge is easily the prettiest holiday rental I've stayed in, with new, really high-quality furnishings. Out on the terrace there's a cosy lounge area, and the natural pool is right by the door, with the sauna just a short way below. Every morning, fresh rolls arrive at the door. The fridge is stocked with the rest of breakfast, including cheese, cold cuts, eggs, butter, and milk. The fireplace was the best part, and we could light it ourselves. We'll be back for sure!
