The mountains are easy to reach for skiing, and I’m already planning to come back. It’s a great place to stay, with really friendly people, lovely rooms, and an ace breakfast in the morning 🍳.

After skiing, the sauna and carefully prepared food were just what we needed. This is a lovely family-run guesthouse up on the mountain, with views reaching as far as Kaltenbach. Rooms are spotless and up to modern standards, with none of that supposed 80s charm. For early starts, the ski bus to Spieljoch stops right outside.

We ate well at both breakfast and dinner, with plenty of variety. The whole house was spotless, and our modernized room had an incredible panoramic view. The hosts really put in the effort to make sure guests have what they need. A wonderful guesthouse, highly recommended.

The owners and staff were friendly, which was a real plus. Still, the price felt a little high for what we got, though being in a ski resort over Easter made it just about acceptable. The place has a strong early 80s feel, especially the dated bathrooms and those thin, stiff pink or mint terry towels. Not cozy at all. Breakfast was basic, and we tried the set dinner once but weren't impressed. We preferred eating in Fügen, which has some excellent restaurants.
