We had a wonderful stay in this modern, well-equipped apartment. It was peaceful, in a picturesque location, and spotlessly clean, with the comforts and amenities we needed, including luggage trolleys and a coin-operated laundry room. One thing to check before arriving is the layout listed on your reservation. We were first given “Top 11”, where the toilet and shower are together and the AC is down the hallway by the entrance, so it would have taken ages to cool the apartment. We went straight to reception with our booking, and they happily switched us at no extra charge to room “top 11” (the one in the video). Reception is in the hotel across the street, next to the apartment building. They’ll give you the instructions you need, and you can ask them for shower gel, since there isn’t any in the apartment. Just remember it’s an apartment, not a hotel: you need to take your rubbish to the basement and separate general waste from plastics. Please don’t leave rubbish smelling in the corridor. There’s no free housekeeping, and they only clean after checkout. I’d definitely come back if I’m in town.

TOP4 was a lovely new one-bedroom apartment close to the ski lift, with mountain views, a garage, lift, heated ski storage, and a ping-pong table. The fully equipped kitchen had sets for 12 people (see pictures), though it was quite small and had almost no room to put groceries away. It also lacked basics like salt, sugar, and oil. There were six free coffee capsules, then €0,5 each. The lights in the main living area were weak and uncomfortable. The dishwasher had no salt or rinse aid, and we were told to buy them ourselves, which seemed strange to me. It doesn’t work without salt. They provided two dishwasher tablets for free, and towel changes cost €10. Apart from those things, the experience was amazing.

The location is perfect, right next to the Spieljichbahn, and it was great to use the hotel for swimming and meals. We stayed at Residenz Schiestl over the Easter weekend. The apartments are very nice, modern, and well equipped. It’s a good option if you want hotel amenities while keeping the flexibility of an apartment.

The apartment was very spacious, but the cleaning left a lot to be desired. Under the sofa we found lots of dust bunnies and a used earplug, and there were various dead insects on the windows. For a €60 cleaning fee, that was disappointing. The location right on a very busy road, which seems especially popular with noisy motorcycles, also made it hard to sleep well. We were missing a clothes drying rack and a parasol for the large balcony. When we asked, we got a broken one. ;) On the plus side, reception was easy to reach and replied quickly. Use of the swimming pool costs extra.
