The food was a highlight, with a high-quality buffet and plenty of choice every morning, afternoon, and evening. We also loved being able to unwind in the sauna and pool after skiing. The location is right in the mountains, within walking distance of the ski rental and gondola, so getting onto the slopes was easy. Our rooms were comfortable and well equipped, and the staff were so friendly and helpful that we felt at home right away. It’s very family-friendly too, with play areas and facilities that our kids enjoyed. We had a fantastic ski holiday and would definitely come back with the family. Family Buschgens

We came on a motorcycle tour and were able to park inside. At breakfast, Ms Marianne, the manageress, realized we were travelling by bike and sent us off with snacks for the road and a St. Christoffel token for safe driving. That was such a thoughtful touch, and we can’t wait to visit again. The rooms, food, and very well-maintained facilities deserved five stars, and every member of staff added another five.

Breakfast had a wonderful variety, and dinner was amazing too. Waitress Judith took care of everything we needed. She’s a real gem, one of the friendliest and best hospitality professionals I’ve met. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay as a family of three with an infant. The hotel, room, and facilities were spotless and very well maintained. The location works well for the Spieljoch skiing area, and there’s a frequent bus to Hochfügen. We’re looking forward to returning next year!

We spent a midweek here and had a fabulous time. The property is wonderful, and the staff made our stay fantastic. The hotel is also a great base for non-skiers to explore, with lots to do nearby. There’s a shuttle to drop you off at and pick you up from the local train station. The food is high quality, and the near-full-board option offers good value.

We’ve stayed at the Schiestl several times and have been delighted every visit. Mrs. Schiestl and her family are such warm people and make every holiday a lovely experience. The service, food, rooms, and wellness are always top-notch, and it’s a nice place to vacation even with small children. The ski bus and cable car are within walking distance. We’ll of course be back. Thank you for the wonderful time.
