My husband needed major surgery, so I had to cancel our booking and asked for a refund nearly two weeks ahead of time. They refused, even though they’ll most likely be able to fill the room. They’re within their rights to do that, but potential guests should know there may be no flexibility or understanding if something gets in the way of their plans.

The view was absolutely stunning, and the rooms were well equipped and very clean. The host family were so kind. Definitely worth staying!

The service made me feel incredibly welcome, and my room was so comfortable. Having free parking in the underground garage was really convenient too.

The caretaker was rude and impolite. Our offer listed kitchen access as a facility, but the caretaker wouldn’t let us use it. They also wouldn’t allow the 2% cash payment rebate offered in the letter.
