This was my first stay at Alpenkonig, though my third visit to Galtur. We booked Aprt. nr.6 and were given nr.5 at no extra charge, a larger place with two bedrooms. It's on the top floor, with great views from both balconies. The kitchen is small, so I didn't cook, though it had plenty of cookware and plates. WiFi was fine, but my Mac kept disconnecting in the kitchen and living room. The bathroom is the main drawback: very tight, and I even bumped my head in the shower while washing my hair. It would be tricky for four people, the apartment's maximum, though the toilet is separate. The blankets felt too warm and the pillows were huge and flat, an Austrian/German thing. I noticed some lift noise, but it wasn't used much and stayed quiet at night. Thanks, Christine, for being so hospitable. All the best!

We stayed in the small attic apartment for a night. Our room wasn't ready, but they greeted us warmly, offered us a drink, and let us change in the ski slope sauna changing room. They brought our things up to the room later. Everything felt new and modern, and the beds were wonderfully soft and comfy. The sauna area was a real highlight: spacious, elegant, and beautifully done, with a Finnish sauna, infrared cabin, and steam room. Sauna lovers will be very happy here. Breakfast was very good too, with eggs cooked to order. We had fried eggs and bacon.

Everything else was great, but we were disappointed that the sauna wasn't available even though it was included in the price. It would help to mention in the description that they don't turn it on on Saturdays.

The apartment was spacious and spotless, with quality kitchen appliances, and we got a really warm welcome. The Lorenz family have invested even more this year and have switched from keys to cards. We had a perfect holiday and would love to return. Thank you!
