Hotel Luggi

The food was a highlight, every meal delicious, beautifully presented, and memorable. The children felt welcome too, and having a separate sleeping area for them was a lovely touch. Hotel Luggi in Galtür has an authentic Austrian look that makes it feel cozy and distinctive. Our accommodation was high quality and comfortable, with attention to detail throughout. From the warm welcome when we arrived to the helpful staff and inviting atmosphere, we had a wonderful stay. We’ll definitely return, and I’d recommend Hotel Luggi to anyone looking for an Alpine holiday.

The ski bus stops right outside, and this is also home to the Silvretta Guides ski school. Marina and her team are great. I’ve stayed here for two years in a row and have had a really good experience both times. The rooms are big and well equipped, and the food is excellent.

The food was so good that I still miss it now I’m home. With half pension, we could pick one of three entrees each night, and choosing was tough because they all sounded great. Breakfast was self-serve, with loads of options and a great espresso and latte machine. We stayed during low season for a ski camp in November 2023, on my first trip to Austria. Marina and Patrik were incredibly welcoming, and Marina or Sabrina would greet me whenever I came into the restaurant or bar and ask if I wanted a drink or anything else. Hotel Luggi has a distinctive modern look alongside traditional Austrian style, and its recent renovations set it apart from other places in town. The lift just off reception made getting to our room easy, and there was a handy room downstairs for skis and boots. The shower pressure was surprisingly strong. Best hotel experience I’ve had. I’d recommend it to anyone passing through Galtür.

The room was clean and nicely furnished, and the hotel was a cozy place to spend time. Staff were amazing and the service was second to none. Breakfast and dinner were great too. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at Hotel Luggi again.
