Pension Hochgaltür

We loved the sauna facilities, especially the steam room and recreation room with table tennis. The apartments were beautiful and clean, with a fantastic view of Galtür and the mountains. Everyone, including the owner, was incredibly friendly. Breakfast was superb, and the half-board option brought a different menu each day. We were very satisfied and will definitely be back.

We felt at home as soon as we arrived. The apartment was cozy, thoughtfully furnished, and spotless, with a wonderful view of the mountains. Having breakfast and dinner while looking out at that scenery was a treat. The landlord was so friendly and helpful, and gave us useful tips for excursions nearby. We also enjoyed trying the local restaurants. The food was delicious, the prices fair, and the quality consistently good. Back at the apartment, everything was well maintained, and the decor had lovely little details. We’d happily return, and felt it was great value for money. A lovely place for a relaxing mountain holiday in Galtür.

The view made the stay feel complete, and the service from the young junior manager was a real highlight. She was attentive and exceptionally friendly. Breakfast had plenty of choice and was presented beautifully, with first-class farm eggs and homemade dairy products. This is just what I picture for a holiday in Galtür, and one of the best places I’ve stayed in the Paznaun Valley.

We were surprised by how spacious the room was, and the price was great. The staff were friendly. We didn’t make use of the sauna, since there’s plenty to do in Galtür and nearby. We skied down to the bus stop, then had to carry our skis back uphill, which took some effort but was fine if you’re athletic. We’d gladly return.
