On a bike trip, I stopped here for a late lunch and sat on the terrace in warm, sunny weather. Service was quick and the trout and asparagus appetizer was fine, but the schnitzel was mediocre and quite dry. The staff were friendly. Based on that wirtshaus meal, I don't feel a strong urge to try the fine dining.

The food was the most creative I've ever seen, and the wine was very good too. We had amazing views, while the rooms were tidy, spacious and comfortable. The service level is second to none.

We arrived on Thursday at 20:55. The restaurant was still quite full, but the staff wouldn't serve us because the kitchen was closing at nine. We only wanted a bottle of wine and some cheese and salumi, but they said no way. You could tell the young staff didn't want to work.

The food was good, though service was slow and the prices were high.

We enjoyed the food just as much as the setting. It was pleasant, with a cozy table outside, and the service was friendly. It got even friendlier after we ordered a decent bottle of Sauvignon Blanc for lunch. We'd gladly come back.
