We stopped for lunch and had a bison burger, venison schnitzel, apple pie, and iced coffee, along with wine and soda Zitrone. Everything tasted good, and it was nice to have game as an alternative to beef. Our dog was unfortunately sick, and the staff were incredibly kind about it. Thank you.

We loved the gorgeous old villa and its fabulous breakfast. The courtyard was a great place to relax with friends and a bottle of wine. I’d definitely recommend staying here if you’re in Gamlitz.

Everyone here takes real pride in their work, and you can feel that it’s family owned. A great place for a relaxing holiday, with a free taxi service for wine tastings in the area.

We’ve seen a lot of castles, and this is the best one in years. The garden and museum were lovely, and the lady boss was so nice and helpful. Staff speak English, German, and Slovenian, so tourists can communicate with them. I’d recommend a visit to all tourists!

A lovely little hotel in a great spot on the Weinstraße, with nice staff.
