Weingut Perner

The family had lovingly prepared the meals, and Sunday's breakfast was better than what we've had at the best wellness hotels. We spent a weekend in Gamlitz with friends who introduced us to the winery, where we had dinner, a wine tasting and breakfast. Every wine we tried was top notch. We were comparing them with top-rated wines at the festival happening that same weekend. Thanks, Isa and Toni, we'll definitely be back!

The breakfast was such a lovely start to the day, with regional products laid out so thoughtfully and a smile to greet us. The wine was excellent too. We only stayed a few days, but had a really nice time, and the owners were kind and accommodating throughout.

We came to stay at Perner Winery because we were invited to a wedding nearby, and it turned out to be a wonderful place to spend our visit. The hosts, Isabella and Toni, were attentive, warm, and welcoming from the start. The spontaneous wine cellar tour was a real highlight, both informative and charming. Our room was spacious and very well cared for, with lovely details that made it feel homey. We also enjoyed relaxing in the beautifully landscaped garden. Breakfast had plenty of variety and was prepared with care. The whole place has such a welcoming atmosphere. We had a great experience and would happily return.

After a while, we felt so at home that we were wandering barefoot through the courtyard and across both the sunny breakfast terrace and the cool panoramic terrace. Isabella's breakfast, with her own egg dishes, pastries, and delicious coffee, added to that feeling. Toni was out in the vineyard, where he knows every vine by name. The setting near Gamlitz is beautiful, and the Perner family place feels like a well-kept secret. The rooms are large, tastefully furnished with natural wood, and have great mattresses and a huge terrace. Everything was incredibly clean and inviting. Outside, the olives in pots, fig bushes, stone ornaments, and natural garden all feel as though they've always belonged there. The garden, cared for by the owner, also has a Kneipp pool and a stream. We tasted the hosts' own wine and grappa in the evening. Everything felt natural, authentic, light, and relaxed. As someone who works in tourism, I know that kind of atmosphere takes a lot of hard work, heart, and joy. Isabella and Toni clearly put all of that in. I'd give them 10 stars if I could.
