Schima-Drosa

This accommodation was below standard. The apartment had ripped-out electrical sockets, broken room doors (the master bedroom door wouldn’t close), silverfish in the bathroom, a clogged toilet, and a leaking dishwasher. The landlord seemed unable to spot and take care of needed repairs before the next guests arrived. During our stay, they tried to fix the issues, so workmen were constantly in the apartment. Even with all these defects, the landlord wouldn’t offer a price reduction. Don’t book this place!

The apartments are a few meters from the church and close to the village center, with an ATM, supermarket, restaurants, and pubs nearby. The bus stops right outside. Everything else was pleasant and accessible, but the residence isn’t connected to the main hotel and, in my opinion, doesn’t have much supervision. A few things didn’t work, including the kettle, toaster, and bathroom lamp, and the carpet wasn’t a strong point. I’d ask for an apartment with a view of the woods.

We’d love to come back. The hosts welcomed us warmly, and getting the keys was easy. The accommodation was fantastic, with tastefully decorated, newly furnished rooms and a kitchen that had everything we needed. The garden patio was great for eating outside and gets plenty of sunshine.

The bus stop is right outside, so it’s easy for skiers to get to the lifts quickly. Our hosts were very friendly and explained everything, including where to find things in the village. The room was perfectly adequate, and the kitchen was fully equipped.
