We were very comfortable in Apartment Birke 3, which we booked for ten days in May 2024 as part of a spa stay in Bad Gastein. The apartment was spotless, everything worked perfectly, and the lovely, friendly landlords made us feel welcome. It was beautifully furnished and had everything we could need, including a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, and toaster. There were two smart TVs, two bathrooms, and two toilets. We especially appreciated the washing machine and dryer. The private ski boot dryer would be handy for skiers, and Apartment 3 also has its own first-floor terrace with a barbecue, garden furniture, and sun loungers. We’d love to return and can highly recommend Apartment Birke.

We had a wonderful nine-day stay in Birke 2. The apartment was spacious, quiet, clean, and had absolutely everything we needed. We were warmly welcomed, and when a small problem came up with the shower, it was fixed within an hour. Compliments for that! The surrounding area is lovely, with Kötschachtal, Gastein Sports Centre, and plenty of gondolas nearby for getting into the mountains and enjoying hiking and climbing. You’re close to everything, and we had a great time.

Our 14 days with friends in Apartment Birke 1 in Bad Gastein were wonderful. Brigitte & Werner Breitfuß welcomed us warmly, were attentive and helpful, and made us feel at home right away. A chilled bottle of sparkling wine was waiting for us, a lovely start to the holiday. The apartment was spotless, right down to the polished glasses, pots, pans, and cutlery, and it was perfectly equipped. The kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms, and living rooms all had what we needed. We especially enjoyed the huge terrace, reached through sparkling clean floor-to-ceiling windows, and the stunning view of the Bad Gastein mountains that we could enjoy every day. The bedrooms also had spacious closets that easily held our luggage for 14 days. Free parking on the property was worth its weight in gold. We’ll definitely be back. Nature was practically on our doorstep at this lovely spot on the edge of town, and everything was still easy to reach. We could walk to both the cross-country ski trails and the lifts. For our week of winter vacation, we had a clean, nicely furnished top-floor apartment with several bedrooms and a large terrace. Check-in and everything else with the owners was straightforward and friendly. We’d happily stay again and highly recommend it.
