I still think fondly about the time I spent with you as a child, even though there was a difficult spell at one point, which I understood. We always felt comfortable there, and I felt like part of the family. Over 40 years ago, I spent nearly every school holiday there with my grandparents, and it was always the best time of my life. I remember Mrs. Gruber making baked mice, and I thought they were real mice. I also remember a foal being born on my birthday. Warmest regards from Vienna, Uschi (Selig).

We felt completely at home in our cosy, very clean, fully equipped vacation apartment. The farm is a real treat for children: chickens, cows, rabbits, cats, and ponies live there, and our daughter never got bored. The playground was the icing on the cake. We got a warm welcome and could buy fresh farm products, including eggs, milk, cheese, butter, and dumplings. Brandtebengut is idyllically set above Bad Hofgastein, with a central location in the valley and lots of excursions and hikes starting right at the doorstep. The view over the Gastein Valley is breathtaking. We wholeheartedly recommend it and would love to return!

The hosts were incredibly helpful. Maria gave us tips for planning our days and left delicious breakfast treats outside our door. The tea with alpine herbs and blossoms was divine! We also loved being able to hike straight from the apartment up to the alpine pasture. The forest path, including its barefoot trail, is idyllic. From the balcony, we enjoyed views over the valley and surrounding mountains, and the apartment met all our expectations with everything needed for a relaxing, rejuvenating stay. We wholeheartedly recommend Brandebengut. Everything about it was simply perfect!
