Haus Dekorso

The Dekorso family were friendly and kind when we visited the property on May 12, 2025 to make a reservation. But during our week there, we found several things disappointing. It was cold outside, around 5-7°C in the evenings and overnight, and our apartment had no heating at all. The walls, floors, and rooms stayed cold, especially the tiled bathroom, which made evenings and sleeping uncomfortable. In winter conditions, I would have expected the owners to heat the property in the evening and at night, but that didn’t happen for us. Some basic items also needed attention. The dishwasher was dirty inside, so we didn’t use it. There was no soap by the bathroom sink or in the shower, and the shower head didn’t work properly. The sink tap was fixed in place and couldn’t be turned, which got in the way when rinsing dishes or using the kettle. We also couldn’t use the hallway wardrobe because it was being used to store a vacuum cleaner and hose. The only usable wardrobe was in the bedroom. For what we paid, I expected a heated apartment, clean appliances, and soap in the bathroom. We often travel abroad as a couple, and this is the first time we’ve reported defects like these to a property owner. I don’t understand why guests should have to worry about standard things needed for a stay when they’re included in the price. I expected more comfort. I’m not a local guide, and I don’t know what that means, so the label feels insulting. Have a nice day, Josef.

The hosts were really friendly, and there was easy parking with straightforward access. It’s close to the ski slope, and there’s enough room for four. The Wi-Fi was fast, though the beds in one of the rooms felt a little narrow.

A really nice host, and the apartment has plenty of space. Great place.
