The pool was large, pleasantly warm and lovely for swimming, and my 6.9 kg Maltipoo enjoyed staying here too. The hotel was super clean, with very nice rooms, and both the internet and TV worked fine. Breakfast and dinner had an incredible selection. I liked being able to put fresh fruit and vegetables into a machine and make my own juice. Dinner was very good, with a wide spread of salads, appetizers, soups and desserts. The staff were very nice. I'd come back.

The breakfast juicer was my one gripe. The noise of carrots being ground all the time was really loud, and I'd suggest replacing it with a tray of ready-made smoothies. Otherwise, I had an amazing stay. The layout is a bit like a maze, but the facilities are brilliant: a great pool and sauna, a good-sized bar with something going on most nights, and a lovely restaurant serving great food. The rooms were a good size, quiet and not boiling hot.

The service was good, and the hotel, rooms, spa and restaurant were all clean and perfectly fine, even if they aren't especially modern. The pool and small spa included with the stay worked really well for families with kids. Dinner was buffet style, and gluten-free choices were available there, though not with the afternoon dessert. That dessert was tasty and plentiful, especially for children, but there wasn't as much variety as at some similar hotels, and no gluten-free option. Breakfast coffee came only from a machine. The coffee I had at the bar in the afternoon was much better. Parking at the hotel is limited, so arriving late may mean using the free public lot a 3-5 minute walk away.

The ski bus stops right outside the hotel. Our corner room was a little cold. For dinner, it would be nice to have some kid-friendly less healthy options, like schnitzel, fries, chicken nuggets or pizza.

6/10
The hotel was comfortable and in a very convenient location. What let it down for us was the lack of a kettle in the room, along with no green tea or coffee. Those seem like basic things to have at a hotel of this standard, and adding them would make the stay better.
