It’s a very quiet, safe-feeling spot south of town, about a 15-minute walk to the center. My room was basic, but it had everything I needed and worked perfectly as an affordable place to sleep. Maria, the host, is lovely and attentive. She found me a water boiler when I asked, and offered me an extra blanket in case I got cold. Since I was traveling and hiking alone, she kept an eye on my safety and wanted someone to know where I was going. Check-in and check-out were flexible and easy. She also gave me plenty of tips about where to go, and I learned a lot about the area.

The owner is very nice and helpful, but you need German to talk with her, or you can ask the young person living there to speak with you. It’s a decent place for a very competitive price. Don’t expect much luxury: there’s no TV, and the shower is basic.
