Not worth the money, with basic things missing: no tea or coffee making facilities, no soap in the bathroom, no hair dryer, and no safe place to store skis. The breakfast room was full of smoke.

The room was large and clean, and so was the spacious balcony, which had a fantastic mountain view. The hosts were very friendly and had suggestions for all kinds of weather, including lovely hikes. They even took me and my luggage to the train station, although it’s only a 5-minute walk away. I really enjoyed my stay.

The location is the only good thing about this house. There’s mold in every bathroom crack, and black cobwebs in every corner that clearly haven’t just appeared. Breakfast was outrageous, just six slices of sausage and two reheated rolls on a plate. At €120 a night, that’s completely unreasonable. The owner kept talking throughout breakfast and, even after I said I wasn’t interested in history, went on with stories from every decade. Also, the skis or snowboards are left outside the house, and there’s no boot dryer or anything like it. The boots are just left in the downstairs hallway.

Very rustic, but enough for an overnight stay. The owner seems to have taken recent negative reviews on board: there was soap and even air freshener spray in the small private bathroom with a shower. There was a little TV with a receiver, too. Breakfast was delicious, with coffee, apple juice, excellent rolls, bread, jam, butter, and assorted cold cuts.
