Breakfast had plenty to choose from, including fruit, bread, cold cuts and other things, and it was delicious. I also really enjoyed the lunches and dinners at the hotel. The room was lovely, with a balcony and a view, and I could get some work done while listening to the birds outside, especially the cuckoo. The sauna and pool were nice too. I’d happily stay here again when I’m back in the area.

Everything else was fine, but the conference rooms get unbearably hot. Please consider adding air conditioning.

The beer paired with each course made the four-course meal amazing. My wife and I enjoyed the beer-inspired menu after spending a full day in the wellness area, with beer soaks and a massage. The staff made us feel at home throughout our stay at the Beautiful hotel, and the service was great. We also loved the location in the Austrian hills. We run a wellness centre and day spa in Brantford, Ontario, Canada, where beer has a history. My wife wanted to bring that into her spa services, and Moorhof inspired us while we were building our beer spa in Brantford. After a couple of years of planning, we finally made the trip to Austria to visit Landhotel Moorhof, and we weren’t disappointed. If you get the chance to visit Moorhof, you’ll find warm, friendly people, great service and quality dining in a beautiful setting.

The staff were friendly, the rooms were spacious and clean, and breakfast was good. In the wellness area, towels were missing, and the space didn’t feel very cozy. Taking a shower was frustrating because the bathroom flooded.

The rooms are spacious and pleasant, with lovely countryside views. Breakfast includes local products, and the restaurant is good. There’s also a nice spa area. It’s one of the best choices around here.
