Quiet spot, and an easy place to get onto the walking trails. We found it really nice and friendly.

The owner was very helpful and pleasant. The appartment is nice, and the view across Schönachtal is great.

The hosts are warm and helpful, and the place is about a 15-minute walk from the town center. It's also a good base for hikes. This was our second visit to Haus Romantik, and we're sure to come again. The apartments have a lovely country style, are very clean, and have what you need, including a modern kitchen, living area, and private shower room in each. There's a huge ski storage room and private parking. The ski lift and bus stop are around 500 meters away.

The rooms are nice and the view is great, though the kitchen felt too small. But the cleanliness was really disappointing: the refrigerator filter was filthy, the underside of the terrace table was covered in mold, dust bunnies were all over, and both bathrooms had dusty tile edges. When we told the landlady, she just shrugged and didn't apologize. There was no warmth at all. It's a real shame, but with that experience we can't recommend the place and won't be back.
