We only spent one night, but really liked the apartment. It’s a short walk to the center and just a few minutes from the lake. We’d recommend it.

The quiet setting and affordable price made this a lovely place for our one-night stop in Gmunden on the way to Croatia. The little house has a cozy early 20th-century look, with antiques, and the bathroom fittings were excellent. The kitchen had everything we needed. Our hosts were friendly, gave us clear directions, and quickly helped with a few small things around the house. There are beautiful mountains and lakes near Gmunden too. I’d happily recommend staying here.

It’s basic on comfort, but the accommodation is adequate.
