Wolfis Traunseeblick 2

We were charmed by Gmunden, the lovely apartment, and the couple who run the property, including their dog, Marley. My daughter and I stayed a few days and would happily come back again and again. It was clean, comfortable, centrally located, and seemed to have been recently renovated. Nina greeted us at the door, gave us a detailed list of attractions, restaurants, and useful information, and was easy to reach on WhatsApp whenever we had questions. That made everything smoother. Getting to Gmunden and the inn by train was much easier than we expected, both from Vienna and on the way to Prague. The train left us just steps from the front door and took us to Gmunden station, where we could go anywhere. The city line runs around town, though it’s all easy to walk from the property. We also took it around the corner to a gondola up the mountain, then went to a treetop walk, activities, and hiking. The Baumwipfelpfad Salzkanmergut gave us wonderful views of the surrounding area. We ate amazing food, watched a marathon ending, and even swam in the lake. We miss Nina and the wonderful couple running the place, and we’ll be back. Thank you, Nina!

I had an awesome summer stay here with a friend. The apartment was clean and spacious, with strong AC, and it’s close to the lake, downtown, and public transit. The host communicated warmly and was helpful.
