We had a great party here, and the large celebration room was amazing for a big crowd. This old castle is very well preserved, and the nature around it is incredible. It’s even more beautiful in person than in the pictures online. I had a fantastic time here and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to hold a celebration or party.

A remote spot for events, with space to host up to 30 people.

We booked the castle for a group of about 25, and there was enough room for everyone to spend a week together, enjoy the time, and simply celebrate life. The outdoor area gave us plenty of ways to have a good time, whether by the campfire or at the pond. :)

We made some lovely memories here while welcoming New Year 2024 with friends and lots of children. There was room for everyone, and we had a wonderful time. A cobweb here or a crooked cupboard there felt in keeping with such a beautiful old castle-monastery. The hiking trails were lovely and offered magnificent views. In the evenings, we gathered around a cozy fire in the monastery garden. Many thanks to the owners, the Gerlich family.
