We love the holiday apartment at Kirchau farm. It’s bright, cozy, comfortable, and spacious, with two bedrooms, a big living room, a well-equipped kitchen, and a large dining table. The owners are kind and look after their guests so well. Their bread roll delivery is a lovely touch, fresh pastries for breakfast every morning. The farm sits peacefully on a small hill with beautiful views of Göstling an der Ybbs, and the village center is a 5-10 minute walk away, with several restaurants as well as the brine baths and sauna complex. Hochkar is our favorite ski area, with plenty of slopes and excellent services. It’s smaller than Schladming or Flachau, but just right for families.

The ski holiday went wonderfully, and many thanks to Familie Zwack-Bilek! My 11-year-old son and I were made very welcome by an exceptionally kind couple. They were discreet, attentive, and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. Our room was cozy and very well equipped. The bus stop is five minutes from the house, and the landlord drove us to and from it by car when we arrived and departed. The ski bus to Hochkar runs daily and is excellent.

A lovely view over Göstling, a cozy room, and a delicious breakfast. The hostess was so friendly. Just a really comfortable place to be.
