The Medlingtal trail is only about 15 minutes away on foot, and the road to Hochkar runs behind the house, which sits in amazing nature. Our stay was wonderful. It’s a peaceful neighborhood, with apparently just one other family living nearby. The owners are friendly and always ready to help. Kids can see the cows, calves and pig, or pet a kitten or dog anytime. We also liked being able to buy freshly baked bread and homemade apple juice.

The apartments and rooms are comfortable and good, and the hosts are very friendly. It’s about 13 minutes from the ski resort.

The garden has a trampoline and swing, and we especially liked the forest nearby with its stream. It was fun to watch the farm work, though our child would have liked to see even more. We spent three nights in the “Hochkar” holiday apartment and were very happy with it. The hosts were so friendly, the beds comfortable, and the apartment well equipped. There was a great bakery service every morning. Hochkar, Mendlingtal, the brine baths, Leckermoor and Wasserlochklamm are practically on the doorstep. We’d love to return!
