The sauna was a great place to unwind after a full day in the Alps. This family-friendly pension has an authentic Austrian alpine feel, spacious and well-equipped rooms, attractive decor, and clean bathrooms and toilets. It’s in the center of the quiet village of Going, and the price for the service is very good. We’d definitely recommend it for a holiday.

It’s easy to get out skiing from here: the bus stop is diagonally opposite, and there’s a ski rental shop and supermarket just two doors away. Private parking was also plentiful, which suited us since we didn’t always want to take the ski bus. We were welcomed warmly and had everything explained to us. Our room was lovely and very clean, with a beautiful mountain view. The decor is rustic but not worn, the mattresses aren’t saggy, and the rooms are quiet. Breakfast was generous and the cook kept replenishing it. A great place to recharge. I’d highly recommend this guesthouse. It’s just what I want from a mountain holiday.

The food was delicious and the location is great. Still, our asparagus dishes were €24.90 each and came with just three spears apiece. There might have been less ham and more asparagus on the plates, which would have made the price feel fairer.
