The kitchen is well equipped for making your own meals, and there’s also an on-site restaurant. Nearby, there’s a reservoir and beach, though you have to pay to use them. The apartment was modern and tastefully furnished, and the hosts were very friendly. It’s a peaceful place for nature, mountains and walks, with a bus service to the settlement. You can also use it as a starting point for longer trips.

For several years, holidays with Helga and Hans Höllwart have brought us joy, heartfelt hospitality, relaxation and renewal. Their attentive care is truly unique, as are the peaceful setting, mountain panorama, and chances to enjoy and admire nature.

The only thing missing from the apartment’s above-standard equipment is a dishwasher. Otherwise it’s nicely and practically furnished and well maintained. The owners are kind and helpful, parking is sheltered in front of the house, and fresh bread, milk and similar things are available each day. It’s very quiet, away from valley traffic, with a great view that includes Kitzsteinhorn. A good fit for anyone wanting a break from city bustle. For the price and what you get, 5* feels right.

We booked a ski holiday for January 2021, but couldn’t make the trip because of the COVID pandemic and the accommodation bans that followed in Austria. The owner no longer answers the phone. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend booking here. It’s just been trouble!
