Gasthof Gosausee

After an 8-hour hike, I really needed a meal, and the grilled fish with boiled potatoes was delicious and filling. The staff were lovely, especially the very friendly and helpful woman who served me. I missed my last bus that evening, and after her shift she kindly offered me a ride to my hotel. I ended up walking the 1 hour 40 minutes instead. It turned into a pleasant stroll along the stream, even if my legs weren't happy at the time! Gasthof Gosausee has great food and a lot of warmth and kindness. I'd happily come back to try more dishes.

The food was good and the location is convenient. One staff member was rude and ignored us when we asked for a table. The place was almost empty, and we only needed one for two people, so we got takeout and left because we were hungry. There aren't many other places to eat nearby, so it does the job when you need food.

The view was unbeatable, and lunch was delicious. After our first-ever via ferrata, we ate here before our boat ride. It took less than 30 minutes from ordering to paying. I also had my first beer here, so it'll always be a great memory from our trip to Austria.

For a meal with a wonderful view, this is the place. The restaurant is great, but the scenery is so distracting you might not focus on the food or its taste. Give the worst seats to whoever's hungriest.
