After a long day exploring the wonderful Austrian villages, this is the kind of place where you can come home and relax in peaceful surroundings. It has a family-home feel, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, cozy refuge. This isn’t a big city, so don’t expect big-city vibes. The rooms are large, clean, and tidy, and the area around the pension is quiet and beautiful. The hostess is very polite and friendly, almost like family, and breakfast is very good and homemade. Hallstat is only about a 25-minute drive away, so if you’re planning a holiday around the Hallstat area, I recommend staying here.

The views from Privatpension Gosaukammblick are breathtaking, with the Dachstein mountains and green valley all around. The place was exceptionally clean, honestly the cleanest I’ve ever seen. Breakfast was simple but delicious, and the host kindly made it whenever we asked. She was incredibly friendly and flexible, which made us even more comfortable. Highly recommend it for a visit to the area!

Mrs Gabriela was so friendly and kind. We were meant to check in at 18:00 o’clock but arrived at 01:00 o’clock at midnight, and she welcomed us with a smile and our room key in her hands. The room and bathroom were very clean, and she cleaned every day. The room was very warm, and more importantly, there was hot water for a shower at any time of day. If I come again, I’ll stay here. We loved the green valley setting, close to Gosau and Halstatt, and it made a great base for seeing the region. The hosts were so lovely. This was our favorite place in all of Austria, and next time we’re planning to stay a whole week. Just perfect!
