The view was spectacular, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was great, really exceptional, and the restaurant food was good. But the restaurant service wasn’t very professional. We specifically asked for salad starters, yet the meat arrived just as we’d started eating the salad. They also mixed up our medium and well done orders, though my wife and I could swap them. At breakfast, they brought cappuccinos without asking how we take our coffee. We hate milky coffee, so had to order again. It was F1 weekend and they were busy, but those simple things should still go right. The rooms are a bit outdated, the shower holder was broken, and there was no shower gel when we arrived. It wasn’t perfect, but the friendly staff and great breakfast made the stay good overall. With the F1 price, the value for what you get was poor, though that’s how F1 weekends always are.

The rooms were cozy and nicely put together, and the breakfast was plentiful and really good. The menu is a manageable size, with a good choice of dishes at fair prices, and there’s enough food for everyone. Andreas and Christine were very friendly and helpful, natural hosts who did their best to meet every wish. A lovely stay, and we really enjoyed it. We’d happily come back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for peace and quiet in Styria. Thanks 👍🤗

The staff were very kind and welcoming, and breakfast was varied and really good. I liked the hotel, and the room was very comfortable, with a lovely balcony view. It’s about 5km from the main road, tucked away higher up on the mountain, so it’s peaceful and quiet. You even meet cows on the road, very Austrian. Everything else was good and beautiful. The one thing I’d adjust is the price, which felt a bit high for such a secluded area. Congratulations to the owners!
