The garden does a good job of blocking street noise, even though the house sits by traffic. Inside, it’s beautiful, and the house is 470 years old.

The rooms were clean and pleasant. Breakfast could use some improvement.

Really nice host, and the place was clean. Close to the historic center, too.

Pub days are a little insider tip, held about once a month from Wednesday through Friday or Saturday. They serve dishes that may bring back Grandma’s kitchen, like creamed heart, tripe, liver, and kidneys, all prepared expertly. Wiener Schnitzel is always on the menu, and you can sign up for a newsletter.
