Hotel Greenrooms

I felt unsafe here and really can't recommend this hotel. The rooms were dirty, dim, green, and claustrophobic. There were four of us sent to a room meant for three, so I had to sleep on a filthy fold-out couch without sheets, a towel, or a pillow. Later, a man in the hallway shouted at and attacked me in Austrian, apparently because he thought we were loud. I tried to explain I didn't understand, but he kept going. There was no way we had been making noise: one person was asleep, one in the shower, and the other two were playing games on their phones. I saw him again near reception and went with a friend because I was scared to deal with him alone. I asked the receptionist for bedding, and what he gave me didn't look fresh, as if it had come from another room.

The bed was comfortable, and the sheets and towels were clean. Breakfast was better than I expected. My room may have been unusually small, but I found there was hardly space for luggage, especially if you travel with several suitcases.

The staff were lovely, especially the young woman at reception, who welcomed us with a smile. Our floor had recently been renovated, which may explain the condition. The rooms were clean and in very good shape, and the bathrooms, while seriously green, worked exactly as they should and were a good size. And the bed was outstanding, the best I've had in any hotel, whatever the price.

Breakfast at the hotel was great. The hotel was excellent, and nearby there was a fast food restaurant plus a 24/7 pizza vending machine. I hadn't seen one before: press a few buttons and your pizza is ready.
