JUFA Hotel Graz Süd - Self Check-in

The staff replied quickly before our visit and arranged our request for a room on the inner side, so I expected a more comfortable stay. Instead, we barely slept. Loud music continued until 2:00 AM despite being on the supposedly quiet side, and afterward a very squeaky bed meant we woke each other whenever either of us turned over. The room temperature was another major problem. The hotel says rooms are set to 22°C, but the thermostat stayed at 21°C. Although there was air conditioning, the hotel switched it off remotely once we went to bed, leaving us unable to change the temperature. The bathroom radiator was broken too, and the shower was only lukewarm. With 1°C outside, having no control over the room climate was unacceptable. When things got worse overnight, we contacted staff for help but heard nothing until early morning. It's incredibly frustrating to be cold and kept awake in a hotel that controls the heat centrally, with nobody available to assist. I wouldn't recommend staying here in winter or if you need a quiet night's sleep.

We slept well in the comfortable rooms, with excellent beds and a quiet atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, shops are within walking distance, and the location is convenient. Free parking is included. I highly recommend this hotel.

The self check-in was easy, and I liked staying here. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and parking is free.

The rooms and bathrooms were large and clean, and the hotel itself was fine. Check-in took more patience: the machine's dropdown menu wasn't working properly, and nobody answered the phone when we called for help. We had to wait for the machine to restart and try again. It took 10 minutes to finally get the key.
