The reception staff were great and very helpful. There's a bar and coffee house on the ground floor, with a Billa market right next door. Breakfast costs €16 per person, and underground parking is €12 a day. My room was excellent, with air conditioning, heating, and a balcony to relax on. An excellent hotel.
For a good price, this hotel gives you a convenient base, with a tram just around the corner for easy access to Graz center. The rooms are spacious, well kept, and have the basic amenities you need. Traveling by car? There's free, safe, suitable parking right across the street.
The staff were friendly and helpful, and I found the room price very competitive. The room was clean, spacious, and well equipped with a desk, WIFI, and mini-fridge, and the bed was comfortable. Parking at the hotel and breakfast both felt a little expensive. I liked the location: it was a 15 minute walk into town through the university district, though that may not suit everyone. There are also a tram and bus nearby. I've stayed at several hotels in Graz and would likely return here next time I'm in town.
The buffet breakfast had a big menu, and everything was fresh. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It's a clean, quiet hotel, about a 10-12 minute drive from the train station. Rooms with terraces have very nice city views, and it's a 5-10 minute walk to the main platz, where there are several restaurants.
The room was noisy all night because I could hear cars. In room #220 on the night of 8.10.2020, the shower wouldn't switch the water from the lower outlet to the overhead one, and only about a quarter of the water came through the top. There was no phone in the room to call reception about it at 23:00, so I struggled through the shower and left in the morning.
