The owners live next door and gladly suggest nearby wine taverns and other places to see, all within a 30-minute walk. Remember not to drink and drive! The old farmhouse has been renovated beautifully and with care, while keeping its charm in the fully equipped kitchen and traditional parlor. Its three rooms each have a toilet and shower, and comfortably sleep six. We'd love to return.

A great vacation home, with wonderfully welcoming hosts. Everything is just as described, and every room has its own bathroom.

The hosts made us feel welcome right away, and their dogs and cats added to the warm, family feel. The quiet setting in nature was perfect for unwinding, yet handy for bike rides and trips around the beautiful Schilcherland region. We loved the Holzpoidl in Steinreb. It’s thoughtfully furnished and has everything you need. The private wine cellar, stocked so well, was a real treat. Such a lovely place to relax and enjoy. Thanks for a wonderful stay, we'd be happy to come back!

We had a peaceful Christmas with snow, and the host made everything superb. The house had everything we wanted, especially the wood stove that reminded me of childhood. Thank you for everything, Gini ❤️🏡🇦🇹

The private, rustic wine cellar is right off the house, and the kitchen is cozy and fully equipped. Every room has its own bathroom and is furnished with great taste. The hosts were friendly, attentive, and easy to deal with. A beautiful location and a house brought back to life with care and skill. Thank you!
