The Fuchs family gave me such a warm welcome, and they were generous with all the thoughtful extras: spare pillows and blankets, a hot water dispenser with tea ingredients, coffee, and plenty of good-quality soap. When I left, I even received a lovely homemade marmalade. My first-floor room was quiet and cozy, with its own entrance, an intimate feel, nice design, and a view of the snow-covered mountains. There’s also a ski-boot room with a warming system. My dog enjoyed relaxing on the extra sofa and looking out the windows. Superb hiking trails are very close by, including in winter with the right equipment, and offer a beautiful panorama of Dachstein. I’d absolutely recommend this place.

The breakfast is fresh, plentiful, and has something for everyone. We’re a couple with a dog and have been coming back to this family-run guesthouse for several years. The rooms are comfortable and very clean, with a beautiful mountain view from the balcony. It’s a charming place and such a peaceful retreat. We always enjoy staying with the Fuchs family. Thank you, Dana, Ralf & Freddy, for the wonderful times we keep having here.

Warm hospitality really makes you feel welcome at the Fuchs Guesthouse in Moosheim. The rooms are beautifully furnished and exceptionally clean, and breakfast each morning is excellent with everything you could want. It’s a lovely place for a relaxing break. Monika looked after me so well while Petra was off exploring the world of Rosamunde Pilcher, and I want to thank her especially. Petra and Fredi Fuchs, thank you both again for such a warm welcome. I stayed at their guesthouse for the first time during a week of paragliding with Sky Club Austria in Moosheim at the start of May 2025. I felt at home from the first minute. I hope you’re all doing well and staying healthy. God willing, I’ll see you again in mid-August. I’m really looking forward to another week in the Enns Valley.
