Hotel Sallerhof

We were given a public transport ticket for Salzburg when we arrived, and the station is right outside, so getting around was very convenient. There’s parking at the hotel too. The hosts are lovely, and we’d happily return. It’s a charming family hotel, carefully maintained and recently decorated to a high standard. The bed was comfortable, the shower had underfloor heating, and breakfast was varied and very tasty. The dining room was pleasant.

The bus stop right in front makes it easy to see the Salzburg area, then come back and rest after a tiring day in the city. I enjoyed making more good memories here with my child, after having fond memories from our visit two years ago. The comfortable bed, tasty breakfast, relaxed atmosphere and pleasant space all made our stay satisfying. I’d choose this accommodation again next time. Thank you so much for your time!

We first stayed here 10 years ago while visiting the area and appreciated the location, venue and service then. This time was even more enjoyable, and we’ll definitely come back when we’re nearby again. Our room was spacious, the view was excellent, and breakfast was great.

The warm, welcoming staff made our stay at Hotel Sallerhof especially memorable. I arrived about three hours before check-in by mistake, but after I contacted the hotel, they came to meet me and arranged an early check-in without any trouble. Their kindness made us feel at home straight away. It’s a relaxing place, with excellent housekeeping, a rich and varied breakfast that was truly delicious, and a beautifully cared-for garden. You can see the attention to detail throughout the charming hotel. The location also makes it a handy base for exploring: Salzburg is about 12 minutes away, Hallstatt and Zell am See are around an hour, Eisriesenwelt Werfen Ice Caves about 40 minutes, and Berchtesgaden & Königssee Lake around 30 minutes. A cozy place with a personal touch and good access to the region.
