We came as two families with five children and left with lots of good memories and nothing disappointing. What impressed me most was the staff. Anyone can build beautiful buildings, but bringing together such an excellent team is an art. We were amazed by their level of service. The food was a lot, especially dinner, which was six courses of fine dining each night. I felt like I was about to burst after every one. The chefs clearly put time into the plates, and each one was a work of art. Breakfast was so good that the other meals, especially lunch, felt average by comparison. Thanks to everyone: the receptionists, kinderhof staff, restaurant and bar teams, room service, and especially the shuttle drivers, who helped us get the kids to all their ski lessons on time.

The ski courses were a letdown. The Skischule isn't run by the hotel, though you can book through them. Most instructors seemed inexperienced with children, and switched constantly between German, English, and Dutch. It didn't work for many kids, and there were lots of tears and unhappy participants. Our room was very small, especially the bathroom, and there was no cloakroom, which would've been useful during ski season. We were three, but I think it would be unworkable with four. The food was mixed too: breakfast was outstanding, while lunch and dinner were only mediocre for me. There are plenty of positives. Moar Gut is a lovely resort where you can relax and feel good, and the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, particularly at reception. The facilities are great. The „Kinderhof“ seems very new and made both younger and older kids feel welcome from the first visit, with activity rooms for things like climbing and trampolines. The ski shop directly across the hotel also gave friendly, flexible service. A nice place overall, though the rooms and some of the food could be better.

There's a little farm with rabbits, sheep, pigs, horses, and other animals that children can feed. This is a beautiful family hotel with plenty of activities for kids, set amid mountains and lovely nature. We first stayed in summer and loved it, then came back in winter to enjoy the snow. I'd definitely recommend it for a family holiday.

We spent a week here on a ski holiday. The daily programs were great for children, and my four-year-old really enjoyed going off on his own. Still, there weren't many kids' meal choices, and the options weren't very healthy. At lunch there were only two choices, with nothing extra to order except pizza and other less healthy food. The only wines by the glass were Austrian, and not the best. For a hotel costing €1,300 a night, I'd expect to be able to order a good glass of wine. The food also worried us. On the third day my son got diarrhea. The next day, after eating marble cake, I started having stomach pain and then vomited. My husband felt bloated throughout the trip. Our son was in ski school for three hours every day. When we watched, we often saw him left unsupervised. Once he fell and was there for 10 minutes until I went to ask the teacher if everything was okay. They didn't seem to try to make it fun for the children, more like, if he wants to do it, okay, and if not, then not. The temperature was another issue. It was very cold everywhere, including the spa, so we only went once. Even the woman doing my cosmetic treatment said it was cold and covered me with blankets. They serve tap water everywhere, and bottled water costs €8 for a 0.75 ml bottle.

The whole team made us feel at home right away. Their friendliness, service, and attention to detail were unlike anything we've experienced at a family hotel. Kids really do come first here, and you can see that throughout the place. Moar Gut went well beyond what we expected, and we'd already started planning our next stay before leaving.
