Each evening we looked forward to the chef's creations, and the food was amazing. The hotel bar was a nice place to wind down with a drink. Hotel Fichtenhof made for one of the most relaxing, carefree stays I've had, and the whole team was welcoming. The reception worker was always smiling and kind, the waiters ready to help, and the owner seemed to be everywhere, from the shuttle service to the bar and restaurant. The spa and swimming pool were very nice and well maintained, with some therapies available on request. Our room was beautifully decorated and came with a generous balcony. Fresh water was provided daily. It's in a quiet spot that's great for a mountain stroll. Highly recommended.

Dinner here felt like art, and the wellness area was perfect. The room was comfortable and nice, and there's a big room for drying ski boots. We've stayed in dozens of family-owned hotels in Austria, but this one stood out because everything was perfect. We'll come back in summer.

The design, food, people, and the way they do things all suited us. It's a really lovely place. You do have to commute to the turf, but it's worth it.
