The guesthouse has a lovely view, and the whole town is calm and clean. We stopped for one night on our way to Italy, and it was a great place to rest on a road trip, close enough to the motorway yet wonderfully quiet. The rooms were clean and nice, but very modest: just beds, a toilet, two chairs, a table, and a wardrobe, with no TV or small fridge. The view from the window makes up for the basics. The staff were cool, check-in was quick and easy even though we arrived a bit late, and the owner spoke English. I’d recommend it to visitors.

We had such a pleasant, cozy evening. Franz showed us around the cellar and explained schnapps distilling in great detail. Then Maria served a lovingly prepared snack and "Schälfeler," a local specialty. She knew a lot about making good schnapps too, and we got to sample several. A wonderful evening, highly recommended. Thanks to you both.

Good value, a very friendly host, and a restaurant right next door.
