He was abrupt and rude to my girlfriend. We went in person to book, but were told there were no rooms, even though rooms were clearly available online. It started to seem like the motorcycle or the fact that we spoke English was the reason.

It felt like coming home to the countryside. The mountain setting is beautiful and picturesque, the staff are friendly and provide great service, and the rooms have nice air conditioning. The food was good too. We had an amazing stay.

The cemetery view from the room is the one small drawback, though it didn't bother me. This is a lovely rural village in the Gurktal Alps, and the hosts are very welcoming. Service was impeccable and everything else was absolutely fine for this price range. I can highly recommend Gasthof Kramer and will definitely return. Thanks again to the hosts! Best regards, Charly
